I have been working at Robins Kaplan (Less than a year)

    Pros

Amazing law firm to work for. They care just as much about their employees and they do their clients. Outstanding benefits, above average pay, generous bonuses and profit sharing. The politics within the company are minimal to non-existent, in my experience, which makes for an enjoyable work environment. The firm provides all the free coffee , tea, and soda you want. They also provide an assortment of fruit every Wednesday for the whole firm.

    Cons

There are no cons that I can think of.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing. Robins is a great place to work for.

I have been working at Robins Kaplan full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Everyone is there to help you. Attorneys are friendly and approachable, LAA's are absolutely wonderful. Hours, benefits, bonuses, and profit sharing are good!

    Cons

Staff doesn't feel appreciated. People aren't rewarded by how hard they work but rather how long they have worked at the firm. Why work hard when it doesn't matter?

    Advice to Management

Show appreciation to the staff. Realize LAA's are some of the most important people in the firm and treat them that way. Hire more LAA's and less marketing people!

    Pros

Great benefits, super friendly staff, longevity at the firm is outstanding. Attorneys really have a great opportunity to apply theirs skills and are able to graduate into more senior positions.

    Cons

Growth in the support staff is limited. You generally stay in the position you are hired for.

A lot of support, training and the opportunity to succeed. Great benefits.

When you're talented, you get used a ton. There tends to be inequality in workloads. Low pay.

    Advice to Management

You lost a lot of good staff members because of unequal workloads and below industry pay.
