Good morning everyone, I’m fresh out of phlebotomy school. I’m having a hard time finding a job as a CPT1 without 1yr+ experience. I’m currently working to full time security jobs 1+ year, until I can switch over into the medical field.

Today I was told by my employer that they do not want a chain of command in our company, and they do not want to update job descriptions because they feel like that limits what people feel they can do in their position. This makes me feel like there are no clear lines when it comes to who does what and who is responsible for what. Is this common in a healthcare clinic or is this a major red flag for me?

Hello, am a recent graduate of biomedical engineering technology at centennial college and was looking to get into the field, so far I've been applying and have gotten no call backs yet. My goal is to work at a Biomedical engineering technology or go the route of Dialysis technician. I know it's difficult with no prior experience, but I would like to get my foot into healthcare. Any advice is appreciated

I got fired today. I was let go from my job as a optometrist technician. I joined the company 87 days ago, I was told about how it was a total revamp of the team. I worked a job meant for 3 people with LONG hours , they constantly said I did great , new employees that started 2 weeks ago and I have been having issues , our front desk person wanted a position change so I was forced into front desk. I expressed my frustration and was fired a few days later. Not sure what to think or feel
