Pros

A lot of autonomy. The founders are both great to work with, and overall, they are very supportive and reasonable in their expectations of their employees. I have also seen many purposeful decisions to prioritize making RPC an equitable workplace, which is important to me.

Cons

Like any early stage startup, structure is minimal in some areas, and if you see something that needs to be done, it might mean that you are the one to do it. This can be frustrating for some people that prefer a greater amount of stability that can be found at a larger, more established organization. I prefer it this way though.

Pros

Management really cares about the wellbeing of their employees. Works hard to make sure everyone feels heard and has a good work life balance. This is not always true at start ups or in the technology industry, so it's great to see here. Environment is very collaborative, coworkers are nice and respectful of one another.

It's a startup so there are some growing pains as the company continues to shape its organizational structure.

It's exciting to work in an organization in a growing field where there is demonstrable need for the product. The founders are passionate and dedicated about the success of this project and work harder than anyone else on the project. The team is thoughtful, detail oriented, kind, and largely free from ego issues. Its exciting to work on a product that is still reaching toward a mature product. Work time is flexible, and deadlines are reasonable.

Cons

As a young startup, processes and policies are still developing. This is not a place for folk who want a cut & dried set of rules to follow.
