Great campus and nicely maintained building. Health insurance is good. Quite a few employee events (free). Postdoc retreat provided free to very nice locations. On site Occupational health offers screening visits.

    Cons

The work- life balance isn't great, but that is the nature of academic research unfortunately.

    Great University for Life sciences

    Feb 23, 2021 - Postdoctoral Associate
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

Good place to advance your academic career with great benefits and perks such as housing and great child care

    Cons

It's still very expensive to do a postdoc in NYC especially with kids and almost impossible with a postdoc salary. Take that into consideration and financial planning.
