HR is wonderful, excellent health insurance. A great place to learn and gain insight into whether or not grad school is the right path for you.

Your experience will depend a lot on your lab/supervisor, not necessarily a con but possible. 2 years until the university contributes 6% of your salary to retirement. No raises, COL do not keep up with inflation
