    Pros

Great campus and nicely maintained building. Health insurance is good. Quite a few employee events (free). Postdoc retreat provided free to very nice locations. On site Occupational health offers screening visits.

    Cons

The work- life balance isn't great, but that is the nature of academic research unfortunately.

    Pros

Rockefeller has phenomenal benefits (401k, health/dental, onsite childcare, extraordinary parties, etc) and generally collegial environment depending on ones position within the University.

    Cons

Utmost deference given to heads of labs (HOLs), graduate students, and assistance for research (technicians). Bureaucracy for anyone outside of this group.
