1.) Inventory 1-2 per community.
2.) Cross Selling
3.) They still will pay you if you leave.
4.) They will fire you while you’re already looking for a new job which will be the best thing for you.
5.) Collecting unemployment before you start at your next career, while collecting your past commissions.
6.) 2 Weeks Vacation First Year.
7.) Great marketing staff, office staff, and administration.
8.) No micromanagement.
9.) Custom options to home.
10.) Great place to work while looking for a better career!
1.) Have to purchase your own office equipment to do your job.
2.) Very difficult to sell homes + 350k homes when your model home is a starter home and years out of date.
3.) Neighborhoods still selling 7-10 years later.
4.) Communities had cars on blocks, air conditioners hanging out of windows, illegal fencing, and dirty ponds.
5.) 8’ ceilings and tons of upgrades, such as crawl space foundations, oak cabinets.
6.) Zero feeling like your part of a great team, great people.
7.) They have hired/fired at least 8 sales people from 2013-2018.
8.) Worst amount of money I’ve ever made in my career.
9.) Felt like a number!
10.) No communication. No leadership. No relationship.

This company provides an excellent opportunity for you to utilize your talents and work with some very respected leaders in the industry. Everyone here appreciates a strong work ethic and supports new ideas and initiatives.
As with any homebuilder, there has been a shortage of good trades supporting our efforts and growth. Finding quality subcontractors that can handle the increased work load continues to be a challenge.
Advice to Management
Continue to invest in your people and they will be loyal and willing to do what it takes today, tomorrow, and in the future.
