    Pros

This is a quickly growing company with a highly competent family ownership that makes decisions for long-term benefit of the organization, not only for immediate returns. Corporate values are lived every day, not just a poster on the wall. Sense of team and responsibility to each other is high. Rockline also attracts some of the top talent in the industry, so you will be working alongside bright minds.

    Cons

There are and will continue to be growing pains related to the company determining how to organize for sustainable growth. The MO has been to implement a multitude of corporate processes, which can limit the agility needed to quickly respond to market conditions.

    Advice to Management

Clearly communicating the company's objectives and mission was a great way to keep the team engaged and focused - keep doing this, it pays dividends in employee buy-in.

I have been working at Rockline Industries full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Work life balance is great.

    Cons

The company is resistant to investing in technology. For example: Office 2007 was still being used until early 2017. Some employees still have not been updated because the company won't buy enough licenses.

Trying to get data takes an act of Congress. Employees are not empowered to use data to make decisions. Any time an employee asks for data the request is met with resistance.

    Advice to Management

Trust the people you hired and view technology as an investment, not a cost that needs to be minimized.

I have been working at Rockline Industries full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good pay and not having to work ungodly amounts of hours to make a decent wage. Very employee oriented HR department.

    Cons

overall, upper management is focused on upper management rather than associates. Limited perks to motivate associates. Could have better timed breaks.

    Advice to Management

    bring simple perks for Northgate

    Pros

None I can honestly come up with.

    Cons

Very sneaky management. They do not keep their word. It's all about the very top management and not the employees. They pretend to care, but could care less about there employees. The best way to describe the top management is, "They are wolves in sheeps clothing."

    Advice to Management

Stop lying to people and be truthful. Make your word your bond.

I have been working at Rockline Industries (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Rockline is a decent place to work. It is a relatively clean environment, and the work isn't that difficult. Overall it's a pretty good place to work.

    Cons

It is difficult to advance within the company unless you are inside the select group of individuals that they have decided are leadership material. There are a lot of good, more qualified individuals that get passed by because they aren't in a certain group.

    Advice to Management

Management keeps telling the employees about how much integrity the company has and how much integrity the management group has. In life, the only people that feel like they have to tell you how much integrity they have, are the ones that have none. A person that truly has that much integrity doesn't have to tell you about it because it shines through every day through their actions.
