I am 3 months into my new role and I feel like my rockstar paralegal definetly does more work than me and even outshines me on calls with our internal clients. Most of that is because she has more experience than me in life and with the company. Should I be concerned? How do I play this?

    Great Management and Promotes Individuality

    Jun 20, 2021 - Field Sales Representative
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

Sales managers treats employees with respect, flexibility for each sales rep to adjust their daily duties for what works best for them individually, no overbearing supervision coming from the leadership, management provides constructive feedback and support when needed, recognizes hard work and awards those who go above and beyond their duties, case commission for product sold in, company work vehicle, frequently provides free cases to employees along with special Rockstar merchandise, incentives during promotional runs and a fun and fulfilling position at the end of the day.

    Cons

Difficult coordinating with the PepsiCo distribution sales reps. Lack of following through on exciting orders dealing with specific needs at accounts. Some account managers and owners refuse to work with Rockstar sales reps for no reason. After acquisition by PepsiCo, all former Rockstar sales reps were laid off and replaced.

Used to be a great place to work

Jul 14, 2021 - Sales Representative in Los Angeles, CA

    Pros

Job was easy, low expectations and really good management team that wasn't breathing down your neck every day to hit quotas. Always had nothing but good things to say about my time at Rockstar, but once Pepsi took over, it was game over. With the corporate policies they tried to implement right away took all the fun and culture out of what used to be a great company to work for. Grateful for the time at Rockstar but Pepsi ruined the brand.

    Cons

Having to work with lazy Pepsi reps who didn't care about actually pushing our brand or growing the business of their routes but rather just ordering to fill shelves. Also Rockstar HR was awful but we were used to it.
