I worked at Rockwell Automation full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Rockwell has a great company culture in being in the account manager role. Most managers are not into micromanaging and allow you to develop your own selling style.

    Cons

Unclear directions of what senior managements major goals are for the companies future and a lot of hoops to jump through when trying to gain new business. Not a very diverse company

    Advice to Management

If improving retention is a goal, than make sure you're understanding what it is your employees value throughout the entire organization and remove the culture of being tapped on the shoulder for promotions.
