    Pros

Compensation was a large factor in accepting this position for just an intern, along with benefits.

    Cons

Working within a large corporation you can find yourself with variety of management issues. Also, being able to push things through this organization was nearly impossible, moving like snails.

I have been working at Rockwell Collins full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Nice Management. Like the people i work with. Easy to change areas if you want to in order to maintain a career path.

    Cons

Takes a long time to get salary up to decent level. They low ball everything. Below national average. Started hiring from lower quality universities. Used to be they hired top %10 from Top 10 universities. Went bad about 15 years ago when we went public. management shifted to add more money to executive level which means less down below.

    Advice to Management

Give more perks. you have a slush fund. spend it on the workers not just office. More meals for our performance would be nice.
