    Pros

The pay for an intern is great and you learn a lot while you are there as an intern

    Cons

Wish I could have taken on bigger projects but at the same time i was only an intern

    Advice to Management

Not much since I was an intern. There is a 20 work minimum for this review so it is what it is

I worked at Rogers Corporation full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Excellent company with even better supervisors. Employees are very helpful and always willing to help.

    Cons

My only complaint was not finding this company many years ago. I hated leaving and tried to stay on as a work from home employee but the CIO and Director were arfaid of the concept. I dearly miss working at Rogers Corporation.

    Advice to Management

Upper IT Management needs to listen to their employees and trust them. They know what they are doing.

I have been working at Rogers Corporation full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

They have excellent benefits, they hire people who work well in a team environment, have a very high level of integrity in terms of following gov't regulations and conducting business ethically. It's very clean for a manufacturing plant.

    Cons

Not a lot of upward mobility since they run lean with few levels of mgt, sometimes overloaded with responsibilities in too many different areas, can be hard to push processing improvements through the system due to intertia

    Advice to Management

Be more open to change even in systems that have been in place for a long time.

I have been working at Rogers Corporation full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Interesting Technology
    Good colleagues
    Reasonable benefits
Good treatment of employees and reasonable benefits

    Cons

Relatively new senior management seems less interested in actually understanding the businesses we are in, than in running the company with business "processes."
Revamping of "company culture" posters and slogans are bogus management, but do minimal damage.

    Advice to Management

Pay more attention to understanding the businesses and technology and less to process-based systems.

I worked at Rogers Corporation as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good co-workers,competitive salary, flexibility when it is needed. Good place to start out, as training is helpful (at corporate HQ at least)

    Cons

Location is not ideal- kind of in the middle of nowhere - not much traffic, but not the most exciting area to live in.

    Advice to Management

Focus on retention of good employes.

    Pros

Rogers Corporation cares about its employees.
    good benifits
good working conditions and the job is like childs play. Its that easy .
our new safety guy Brian really cares about the employees welfare. Brian actively promotes a safe working environment.-
    good pay.
even in a down economy we got several quarterly and annual bonuses
Rogers corp. actively promotes continuing education as a way for advancement if one choices that route.
The outgoing CEO Mr. Bob Wachob lead Rogers Corporation thru many sucessful years and helped open the door so we as a company can get into the LARGEST economy in the world. Bob was worth every nickel he received in his exit package.
The new CEO Mr. Bruce Hoechner has a decade of experience in china and seems to have excellent foresight. maybe Bruce will get us to the billion dollar in sales goal.

WHAT ELSE CAN I SAY BUT ROGERS CORPORATION HAS BEEN AWESOMELY KIND TO ME.

    Cons

pessimism in some employees really is a mental drain. But i am always learning new ways to optimize their pessimism.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work and please start actively promoting optimism and get rid of all the employees who feel they owe the company nothing but expect the world.

    Thank you.
