    I worked at Rogers Corporation full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Great company, great pay, lots of potential but the mom and pop mentality needs to go in order for this company to grow.

    Cons

    Poor leadership, lack of accountability, zero respect for each-other or ones experience, you are surrounded by people with can’t do attitudes especially in Corporate. AND, I couldn’t agree more with the 2016 post as it relates to HR, Finance and IT. Finance is a disaster with high turnover, IT is no better and the HR leadership team is just horrible. I’ve never seen an HR department with such foul language and... bullying type behaviors.

    Advice to Management

    Don’t be afraid to rip off the bandaid and clean house. Listen more to your employees. You need more “can do” employees than “can’t do”. And, if you don’t clean house, you will continue to lose the “can do” employees. Rogers has a bright future but a lot of change is needed in order to move the business forward.

    I have been working at Rogers Corporation for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Great pay and benefits, flexible work hours, work with great people.

    Cons

    I've been with Rogers for several years and the current Rogers is one that is going through growing pains. They are trying to grow too big too fast and it's just not working. The only way executive management seems to know how to try to increase profits is at the expense of the employees by cutting jobs instead of focusing on increasing sales and creating new products. The HR and IT Depts. are horrible. This... used to be a company that you would be proud working for and could picture yourself retiring from, but that is sadly not the case any longer.

    Advice to Management

    Have a heart and take time to realize the value in the employees that you have. Realize what you are doing to the lives of 70 people by moving the Corporate offices to Arizona and cruelly making them wait weeks to find out what severance packages will be available. Please do a better job the next time a decision is made like this that turns people's worlds upside down.
