    Pros

They are focused on Safty number 1. They have great benifits. They are very active in all the communities that they are lovated in.

    Cons

Work/life balance. During peak times there is a lot expected of you as far as hours worked. They do lay off in winter when you work on the construction side during the winter.

I worked at Rogers Group full-time

    Pros

The company places an emphasis on training the employees that are in, or going to be in, a management role within the company one day. Everything from Safety to conveyors to crushers, they are trying to develop RGI into a better company.

    Cons

Each division is being managed differently and by different standards, and it's all up to the SMA. Other divisions might seem to be better, but the ETN division is terrible if you plan to work on the aggregates side. Poor pay, poor benefits, and the company doesn't seem to REALLY care about their employees.

    Advice to Management

Darin Matson - Take a closer look at how each of your SMA'a are being managed, and have Corporate develop some company standards the each SMA is FORCED to live by. Also, make sure each SMA also has a Agg VP and Construction VP. Some divisions don't have this, and they forget about the needs of the employees on the Agg side, atleast in the ETN division.

I have been working at Rogers Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Every person works together to get the job, or jobs done. Communication is key and everyone is on board. Safety and employees are the two most important things to upper management and the board of directors

    Cons

Upward mobility has proven difficult. Schedules and/or plans change constantly. When results are not met and it is beyond your control it is "seen" as your fault for not doing more.

I have been working at Rogers Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Matching 401k, paid vacation and sick leave is a great bonus

    Cons

Long hours, large company so I sometimes feel lost in the shuffle. Feel like more feedback on how I am performing or more of expectations would benefit everyone

I have been working at Rogers Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good pay and most of the people are cool that you will work with. Insurance is average but acceptable. Get to see lots of the surrounding area.

    Cons

Seasonal work. You don't get to do the same thing twice very much, Sometimes presenting the illusion of work is harder than the actual work.

    Advice to Management

    Don't lie to future employees

    Pros

Nice People in HQ. Office was in a good location.

    Cons

Awful environment. Headquarters is full of people that just come to work 8-5 and that's it. Incredibly boring company

    Advice to Management

Liven the place up. You have the power to make it better. Hire younger staff. Promote from within.
