    I love the culture!

    Pros

    It’s all about the culture! Team driven and highly motivated team. Everyone looks out for one another. No one is left behind. Problems are solved as one cohesive unit. When one person wins, the whole team shares in the victory. I could go as far as to say it felt more like I was working with family rather than co-workers. It was a great experience while it lasted.

    Pros

    I’ve worked for several companies prior to coming to Roma Moulding. None have been as genuine as this one. The senior staff really know their stuff and they’re always more than happy to take newbies under their wing and train them up. If competition ever arises, it’s friendly and supportive. The customer service is world class.

    Pros

    The team is supportive of one another. Roma does a good job of making you feel like a part of the family from the very beginning. As long as you have good work ethic and you’re willing to play well with others, your experience should be positive.

    Cons

    Contrary to how it seems on the surface, this job isn’t easy. This isn’t a company for someone who isn’t willing to work their hardest.

    Pros

    Some great people to work with, many fantastic people have come and gone. Recruitment is fantastic, they really sell the culture.

    Cons

    The culture is a sham. It's a selling point for recruitment. Upper management is puerile and toxic. Refuse to actually address anything and play the blame game. The turnover is hilariously bad. Customer Care has been recruiting for 3 years straight because they can't keep people in the building after they get exposed to the 8th circle of hell that the head office is. Take a look at the core value videos. Half of them are featuring people that haven't been there in years; and in most cases, their replacements, replacements replacement isn't even with the company anymore either. Any of the group shots are the same story, take a look at the old halloween parties and group events on facebook, entire departments have turned over multiple times. In most cases you could put a red X thru 3/4's of the people in the images. You can do the same thing with the images on the side of the delivery trucks in Toronto.

    Pros

    The team that I work with is one of the best groups of people I have had the pleasure of working with. It truly is a family here...everyone supporting each other.

    Challenges are many but the rewards are great! It's all about how much you're willing to put in.

    Pros

    The staff here are fantastic. Some of the best people I've had the pleasure of working with. The office culture, while not always genuine from the top-end, is lived and breathed by the core staff and could not be more rewarding in that regard.

    Cons

    Sadly the "Core Values" and "Culture" you quickly learn are buzz words and top-level decisions contradict them more often than not. Very few opportunities for advancement, and those that do come up are filled by politics more than qualifications. Work-Life balance is touted as a perk but in reality you're expected to work days/hours not part of your original schedule hired for, overtime not offered (though you can bank time if on salary position). Raises are not heard of even for long term (10+ year) staff. Turn over is insanely high. Focus seems to be more on CEO than on the actual product.
