    Negative Outlook

I worked at Rome Research Corporation full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

While their benefits aren't great, they aren't terrible either. They've medical, dental, vision, and 401k. They'll even pay you a little fringe benefit should you opt to not use their medical insurance.

    Cons

You will be nothing more than a number to them. Any work issues and the like, they don't care. At best, they will mitigate the issue so that it's not a problem for them. At worse, they cut you loose faster than a vegan with diarrhea.

Being paid what you are worth is the end goal of every employee; Rome will ensure that you are paid well below industry standard in an effort to save face with the DoD on their contracts. What better way to provide an excellent service by cutting pay to those who provide that service!

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Rome Research Corporation as a contractor (More than 3 years)

    Pros

no need for a lot of experience and a great company to get started in the field of SATCOM with.

    Cons

both places I have worked for RRC have not given any relocation benefits and they have been short notice with no regards to your situation at the time. little involvement from management in helping employees advancing.

    Advice to Management

do better at helping your employees and do way better in how your PM/APM's promote people. there needs to be a better look at who a person is leadership wise instead of can they pass a test.

    Positive Outlook

    Pros

Rome Research Corporation places a lot of emphasis on safety protocols that each employee
must follow. Cyber security, and work ethics are also reviewed annually. Workplace non-discrimination, non-harassment guidelines are promulgated. Overall, the work environment
    is pleasant and safe.

    Cons

The salaries offered are the same wether you are a newby or veteran to the industry. Merit increases are nonexistant. Overtime work is mandatory.

    Advice to Management

Listen and be more open to needs of the employees. It would be helpful, and benefitial for the
employees to get more feedback on job performances.

    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

    Pros

The work area is good because the Co workers you will have will be great. Except for one B&G employee who always tries to get away with work and thinks he's above everyone else

    Cons

The security shifts suck. Hard to cope with and hard to adjust. Takes a lot of getting used to

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the new program manager.
