    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Ron Marhofer Auto Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good honest dealership with benefits, paid vacation, quality team structure. You can succeed here with and without sales experience.

    Cons

Working on the weekends gets old but that's the worst part.

    Advice to Management

Do not let your attitude or feelings effect the way you treat your employees and their customers.

I worked at Ron Marhofer Auto Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The co-workers I worked with were great. Really go a strong connection with my team

    Cons

Once in a management position, I found that upper management did not care about all of the employees within the company. They were promoting the wrong individuals and people who were extremely talented and had a great work ethic would end up being the ones that would be released or would leave for another chance to grow. The environment as well was very toxic

    Advice to Management

It's not all about the money. Look at restructuring your decision makers and trust individuals in the jobs that you assign to them.

    Pros

Great atmosphere and coworkers. the training to help sell cars was second to none. would suggest if your looking to make money and sell cars.

    Cons

very fast paced you may have to sell two or three cars at a time, guess not really a con since that's more money in your pocket.

    Advice to Management

    Keep training employees

  8. Helpful (1)

"3 and a half year of stress, kept positive attitude, and moved into high paying position. Left and I'll never look back."

    Pros

Great money. Good sales managers and sales people.

    Cons

No respect and they think they are above everyone else. Take my advice and go somewhere that you will be respected for your talents.

    Advice to Management

Management is great, but upper management/owners need to lower their egos. There are plenty of people who make just as much/more than you with a lot more freedom. You should try to better yourselves and care about your employees. Don't keep them til midnight because you want to sell a car. That's rude :)

    Pros

Good sales program. Compensated very fairly

    Cons

No growth potential if in sales role.

  10. "Good income if you can consistently sell."

    Pros

Compensation is good. Marhofer has a good reputation in the area which drives alot of traffic. The sales model works very well when done correctly. Two days off a week.

    Cons

Long hours on Monday and Thursday 9-9. When it snows you have to clean off 300+ cars which is the worst part of this job

    Advice to Management

Get out of the office and help your sales rep close deals. Keep your sales reps happy and they will sell more for you.
