Pros
I really like my role at RoomPriceGenie. The company and team are energetic, fun and entrepreneurial. The overall vibe is good. They bring the team together 2x a year, and that is such a treat for all employees.
Cons
Not much. There are no downsides so far.

Pros
I have the flexibility to work remotely or come into the office, which has been a game-changer for me and my family. The company culture is family-friendly and very supportive. My colleagues are genuinely kind, and we all work as a team to achieve our goals. It's refreshing to be a part of such a positive work environment. As a senior frontend developer, I've had the opportunity to work on interesting and cutting-edge projects. I have been able to do more in the two months that I have been here than my previous corporate employer. As a startup we don't have much red tape and we can move very fast. The management at RoomPriceGenie encourages open and transparent communication, ensuring that everyone is on the same page. I particularly enjoy our weekly team meetings in which we can just share how we are doing and everyone is treated as an equal. One key aspect of the culture is that everyone takes ownership of their work and hence there is no chaos in Slack. There is a genuine calm environment, even though we are moving very fast.
Cons
While the challenging projects can be exciting, the fast-paced environment may not be a perfect fit for everyone. Thankfully, for me, who is quite entrepreneurial it is a great fit.

+ Management is very kind and asks you to introduce your ideas into a product. And ideas are actually implemented. + Management is very good at planning tasks. So you will not experience crunches and overtimes. + Team is very kind and helpful. + Management is focused on improving current internal business processes, so your development experience will improve over the time. + Has a good work/life balance. You will never be forced to work on weekends or in overtime.

RoomPriceGenie's company culture is outstanding, especially considering that most of the team works remotely across Europe, South-East Asia, and ANZ. There is absolute respect for each team member's individual goals and personal situation, being respectful and having fun doing the job is at the centre of RPG's culture. The company offers great benefits, the possibility of remote work with regular (and fun) company gatherings, flexible working hours, and the opportunity to work in one of hotel tech's fastest-growing companies with one of the highest client satisfaction scores in the market.

Pros
This company is fast growing, and offers an amazing industry product that truly delivers value to our customers. The best part, is that while the company has grown so quickly, the supportive attitude of the team has remained, and is truly one of the most cohesive teams I've worked in, despite being a global company with timezone differences.
Cons
For those looking to join the company, most colleagues are remotely based, so might not suit someone who prefers an office environment. No real cons!

A friendly, positive and enthusiastic team with a shared vision. Lots of support from managerial staff and great company values. It's very exciting to be part of a company that has achieved so much since launching but is still continuing to go from strength to strength.

Pros
Fast growing, ambitious, young company that puts his employees on the first place. Although the majority of the company is working remotely the teams work closely together and people meet up regularly. The overall atmosphere can be described as warm and social. Besides that there are enough possibilities to develop yourself and grow into new roles and positions.
Cons
No real cons. I wish everyone an employer like RoomPriceGenie.
