I have been working at Roper St. Francis Healthcare full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Good Pay and good benefits

    Cons

Everyone from management on down is concerned about job stability, as many emoloyees, some with 30 years of tenure, are losing their jobs due to job elimination, primarily due to poor decisions on large expenses such as the lease of all of the Nason buildings, along with the Carnes Crossroad new hospital project.

I have been working at Roper St. Francis Healthcare full-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

Decent path of advancement for career growth. Excellent benefits with superb health insurance and ancillary bennies such as Roper Learning Center (childcare).

      Cons

Weak professional education program. Low starting salary that get locked into despite additional education. Minimum education requirements are very low but perhaps that is healthcare in general.

      Advice to Management

Greater incentives for education and growth. Healthcare demands knowledgeable leadership.

I have been working at Roper St. Francis Healthcare

      Pros

Some of the people live up to the "Code of Conduct"

      Cons

They "pick and choose" what to enforce and when

      Advice to Management

Do what you say you are supposed to do. HIGHLY unfair management. EVERYONE is supposed to abide by the "Code of Conduct" physicians do not have to. David Dunlap appears to be a good man just blind to things under his nose!
