I worked at Rose Medical Center full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

High employee engagement, accessible Executive Staff, strong culture of Patient-Centered Care, Safety First, and continual Pursuit of Excellence. A place where diversity is welcome and respected.

    Cons

Currently entering a season of renovation and expansion, campus foot print may change daily. Competitive healthcare market means acquiring and retaining experienced staff is a challenge. Hospitals are are dynamic, complicated systems, effective communication not consistent or timely.

    Advice to Management

Continue to over-communicate, be visible, and share your most authentic selves, knowing you just like us, people, with real challenges who struggle and keep on trying to be better is inspiring.

    Pros

Rose takes care of it's employees and it's virtually impossible to get fired.

    Cons

current management are not open to constructive criticism and do not enforce the value of team work.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees instead of telling them to manage themselves with an issue that is out of their hands (i.e. one that involves manager intervening)
