I have been working at Rosen Hotels and Resorts full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Amazing benefits - such as low cost health care
    Amazing co-workers and company moral
Company truly cares about their employees, their families and their health

    Cons

Pay could be a little better, however, mixed with the fringe benefits you don't realize it.

I have been working at Rosen Hotels and Resorts full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - good and understanding managers
    - some good benefits
    - interaction with the CEO which isn't always the case in other hotels.
    - family friendly
    - paid holidays, room/food/spa discounts
    - performance review

    Cons

    - have to wait 1 year to get PTO, which is ridiculous...

I worked at Rosen Hotels and Resorts full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Amazing company benefits (health insurance), discounts at other Rosen hotels and getting paid weekly. Guest interface was never too bad.

    Cons

Favoritism plays a big role, they'll work you hard during the holidays. The hours you work do jump, from working until 11PM to coming in the next day at 7AM.

    Advice to Management

Make your employees happy before the customers.

I worked at Rosen Hotels and Resorts part-time

    Pros

Plenty of jobs, hours and benefits.

    Cons

Management isn't that great. Lots of favoritism and overall hospitality work will stress you out.

I worked at Rosen Hotels and Resorts part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great environment; family-owned and run; very professional. They know what they're doing. They are not a national chain - they only have a handful of properties in Orlando and I think that way they focus more on their great properties here and have a closer tie to all of them.

    Cons

I did not have a typical position here so I don't feel qualified to assess, but it seemed that everyone really enjoyed working here.

I worked at Rosen Hotels and Resorts full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The benefits are awesome. Vision, medical, dental, 401k. And they have their own medical center. Some of the staff are nice

    Cons

Racist Managers, overnight security manager does nothing and blames everyone else. The people are two faced. The pay is horrible

    Advice to Management

You don't get a raise for getting your coworkers fired.

    Pros

The benefits, being full time you get everything after 90 days. You get paid for training and the discounts start on your first day. You have a huge amount of groups, and repeat guests, it's great to see how much people love Rosen Hotels.

    Cons

It's a small company, so moving up or advancing isn't very likely.
