  1. "Encouraging Place to Work"

I worked at Rosler Metal Finishing as an intern

    Pros

Good coworkers, efficient and clean facilities, ease with discussing with managers and more senior employees

    Cons

Somethings done just because they work, not because it can't be better. Also, not the best networking group, although that could've been me.

    Advice to Management

Would advise for some looking at general processes and see if improvement could be added. Sometimes it seemed things that could easily be fixed weren't.

    Pros

Benefits, would like to say hours and flex scheduling, but after I obtained FMLA, I was advised that I cannot use flex time, my hours were not flexible.

    Cons

Pay is not equivalent to the job expectations, lots of nepotism, the company is being run into the ground.

    Advice to Management

Clean house from the CFO on down.

I have been working at Rosler Metal Finishing full-time

    Pros

Insurance and steady work. Insurance is through blue cross which it includes health dental vision and is like $40 every check.

    Cons

Sketchy payscale in Production. Sad to see temps make more than us on overtime and don't get paid half the day for working an extra day.

    Advice to Management

Production department needs to be on hourly pay and different shift options should be considered!

I have been working at Rosler Metal Finishing full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Challenging machine designs for various customers in the metal forging industry. The machines destroy themselves, so often the challenge is function over spare parts.

    Cons

Impossible timelines and SAP. Meeting customer expectations only after the runoff has happened and those requirements were never communicated.

    Advice to Management

Get an idea of what reasonable design timelines should be and get the staff to support it.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Rosler Metal Finishing full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

If you happen to get a position within the office you will be very well off. Sales positions start at 140,000 Benefits are good though.

    Cons

If you work anywhere but the office your getting paid pennies. The people who are not, see themselves as better than you and treat you and others of your monetary status with no respect.

    Advice to Management

    Needs NEW management.
