I have been working at Ross Stores part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The coworkers are some of the most amazing people and hardest workers I’ve ever met, and the work environment is very relaxed. They work with your schedule and hours are pretty decent

    Cons

The corporate management is insanely hard on the store management which in turn makes great people turn into massive jerks. Occasionally they’ll create new policies and rules without telling anyone and they’ll harass people they don’t like until they either quit or they slip up and get fired. They also constantly harp on reducing shrink but only focus on things like strictly enforcing the dress code or the appearance of the seasonal area.

    Advice to Management

You’re managing Ross. Not Dillard’s. Stop acting like you make more than $20
