    Pros

I absolutely enjoyed my internship experience! The internship program is very well organized and they really do take care of their interns. In the short 10 weeks, I can confidently say that the internship experience prepared me for what it means to be a retail leader and manage a multi-million dollar store. I gained a better insight into managing an entire store of staff and merchandise, theft prevention, HR, hiring and onboarding, product placement and other related topics. Overall, great experience.

    Cons

The only con is that you might work with and management unprofessional or unmotivated staff members. This can at times feel like babysitting. Other than that, I would say the experience was pretty great.

    Pros

    - The management is helpful and recognizes good work.
    - Great chances for job advancement, even encouragement from senior staff to do so.
    - Overall friendly and positive attitudes among coworkers.
    - Benefits for part-time workers (20 hours/wk +)

    Cons

    - Not a good place for you if you can't work quickly and efficiently at the same time.
    - Schedules are very random, although not necessarily in a bad way.

    Advice to Management

At least to the management of the store I work in, "Keep it up!" You guys are great and I appreciate all the help and support you've given me, as well as the recognition of good work and encouraging of advancement.

    Pros

Moving up within the company is great. Ross is a great place to use as a place to obtain and cultivate mangerial experience that you can take with you elsewhere. The pay is pretty similar to other retail store. The management team is great.

    Cons

Dealing with customers is always a hassle. Because there are a lot of minimum wage jobs, there are a lot of minimum wage workers, and that adds up to drama pretty quickly.

    Advice to Management

Less stringent demands for firing would be appreciated so that better employees can take poor employees' places. Also more pay makes handling customers easier.
