Always something to do and fast paced
Cons
Staff and management. Management would cut hours after the schedule would be posted and not even have the decency to notify you. If the management didn’t like you she would nitpick about EVERYTHING you do and have a poor attitude as if it was your fault she stayed at the job she did. They pay you less than minimum wage and the customers are a different breed of rude and unsanitary.

Pros
good as an entry level position to get you feet wet with in retail
Cons
hard to grow with in the company unless you know a lot of the higher ups or placed in a training store. horrible pay for the work they expect from you. pay their lower works minimum wage and expect them to do the work of two. only use about 2% of there revenue to pay staff so 90% of the time the management team is doing mindless task and not actually leading

Very Hectic and Grueling Hours!

Great Discount, 20% year round and 40% off three times a year, great place to learn new skills, and a very- fast paced environment so the shifts go by quickly
Cons
With the extension of hours nationwide it is a very busy and painful place to work. Pay isn't too great for managers but they recently raised the minimum wage for entry-level associates.

Practically no hours and okay management.

The employees are generally friendly.
Cons
No hours and a lot of work has to be done for the minimum wage that they pay you. You will be asked to come in when you are not scheduled like the same day that they want you to come in.

I guess the 20 percent off discount is alright. I always try not to shop there since a lot of their products are bad quality.
Cons
They are exploiters. They pay minimum wage and keep cutting people's hours so the ones working have to work their rears off. I understand that they want to keep their prices low, but if they want to do that then they shouldn't be so strict. All of their corporate policy is such bull. They have no respect for their employees what so ever. Also, they never give anyone full time unless it is absolutely necessary, not even their most loyal employees. They gotta watch out they wouldn't want to give any of those 'benefits' away.

Pros
The 20% discount is good Good place to start
Cons
Company doesn't give enough payroll to function Starting pay for associates is minimum wage and not enough for what the company expects from them

Pros
- 20% discount on most items (40% discount every once in a while) - Most co-workers were fun to work with - Sociable environment - Opportunity for promotions if you're hard-working - Learning experience in retail
Cons
- Starting pay is minimum wage; raises are given every year but at fractions of a dollar - Store is a chaotic mess because customers disorganize things all the time - FES basically means you're always on the register doing returns, exchanges AND purchases - Some people are political about management

No room to actually grow
Mar 10, 2014 - Loss Prevention AssociateRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The only thing I end up enjoying is working with my co-workers.
Cons
My store has a very difficult customer base to the point of cursing and the frequent 'flipping of the bird' at many of us. We do not get much support from the company to help make an effective loss prevention team. Greeting potential crooks can only do so much. LP is a dead end career, even though I have been told there was opportunities for me, I have yet to move up in my career. Associates work very hard and have outrageous amounts of work to do for just minimum wage. When they finally do something good, there is little positive reinforcement, just demands to be better. There is no enjoyment walking into that building.
