    Dedicated subspecialty work, Modern Equipment, Supportive department chair

    Cons

    Political issues in the department, too many state imposed restrictions, poor physician control of support services in the department

    Advice to Management

    Allow for more reasonable path to hiring additional physicians. Combine Radiology RVU for reimbursement assessment along subspecialty lines and divide by number of radiologists

    Pros

    lots of great people to work with, and most are willing to work together when people need time off. Easy to get answers to questions, physicians and NP usually respond the same day

    Lack of communication with the management
