I have been working at Roti Mediterranean Grill part-time

    Pros

    - keeps you on your feet
    - great team
    - excellent benefits

    Cons

I've been working there intermetently for a year due to school. The Rosslyn location is overstaffed so I am being relocated to their new location in Pentagon city. Opening keeps getting postponed so I havent had a shift in a few weeks.

I have been working at Roti Mediterranean Grill full-time

    Pros

Really great food! Values Driven company that is very humble; no arrogance. Growing with new locations.

    Cons

Fast paced, but I love that it is busy!

I worked at Roti Mediterranean Grill part-time

    Pros

Free meal while working your shift, although you cannot take the meal to go. Pay was pretty good. They had benefits as well, but they were only for full time employees.

    Cons

They wanted me to work everyday of the week for just a few hours, rather than making the shifts longer for me so I could come in less. The company was not a big fan of families (when the employee had kids and had specific daycare pick up times). I would word everything out to them right away after you are hired so they can plan for it.

    Advice to Management

Allow part time workers insurance as well.

    Pros

Close-knit small team is agile and able to get things done fast.

    Cons

Slim teams means more responsibilities and tasks for each person.

    Advice to Management

Find gaps and holes in hiring and hire the best people possible!

I worked at Roti Mediterranean Grill part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Pay
    Shift meal
    Good CEO
The food itself is good when done right.
Coworkers have good morale. Good values set by company.

    Cons

-General manager does not care about staff
-The money is not worth the poor attitude he puts out.
    - Lack of cleaning, lack of coordination, and consistent talking about sex is unacceptable.
-Gm only looking out for his success. Not a team player. Disgusting "leader"

    Advice to Management

Regional manager should have staff review the general manager. Add anonymous review for staff to take so that the company grows instead of sits still. Also advice to regional manager, gm does not agree with advice given and clearly stated refusal for changes.

    Pros

It was an alright place to work, you had to ask for days off 2 weeks in advance which was aight but whatever

    Cons

Low pay. Someone who had started 7 months after me was getting paid 4 dollar more per hour which i thought was quite unfair

    Advice to Management

Be better about giving bonuses and sharing the love. Make sure people who have been there longer recieve better benefits

I worked at Roti Mediterranean Grill full-time

    Pros

Insurance was acceptable. No matching 401k. Thats all I can think of

    Cons

Company policies are constantly changing. Give low reviews so they don't have to give you a raise

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees better and they will stay.
