The people for the most part are super nice. The benefits package is good. The work / life balance is good. The tools provided are very good.
Cons
The flatness of the management structure sometimes draws out the decision making process way too long. The company likes to play it safe with the projects so they aren't always the most interesting. Not maybe the best place for someone super ambitious.
- Current Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
- Great peers, relaxed atmosphere - Work-life balance, after 4-5PM office becomes very quiet - Some benefits still there
Cons
- Management without any experience in games and incapable in making decisions - Management mostly middle-aged white men, not the best place for women regarding pay and/or career opportunities - Culture - Games are just made based on analytics, trying to hook users into spending money, no original ideas - Benefits are fast disappearing - Constant uncertainty due to employee negotiations and lay-offs - Company's financial situation (no severance pay for laid-off employees anymore) - HR department exists for the company, not the employees - Lack of vision - Beating the Angry Birds brand to death
