    Pros

It's a friendly environment, team and most customers are kind, jobs are not hard.

    Cons

Because I was 15 at the time, I only worked on weekends. Even then they cut my hours to 8 hours a week. Sometimes 7!

    Advice to Management

No advice really. I enjoyed working there for the little time. Great for my very first job. This job pays a fair amount of money

I have been working at Roy Rogers Restaurants part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I love my co-workers! It's like a happy family...well semi happy at least. My one manager is awesome!

    Cons

I'm always stuck doing more than what I should be, while half the employees stand around and don't do stuff or constantly leave early.

    Advice to Management

Equal pay for EVERYONE! And if someone is constantly calling out not showing up and/ or leaves early alot fire them!!!! And stop hiring people who can't work this day or that day and can only work till this Time! Its screwing over your few and only people who close EVERY night!

    Pros

Usually a friendly working environment; gain experience in several areas rather than just cashiering open doors to work in other restaurants/fast food chains; managers are very friendly; somewhat flexible with hours.

    Cons

no overtime; hours may fluctuate; occasional miscommunication; minimum wage (based on your area) but expected.

I have been working at Roy Rogers Restaurants full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They do offer quality food and it does taste good. They use real beef in the hamburgers and they do weigh 1/4 lb before cooking. There is also a good variety of foods to choose from.

    Cons

Their prices are very high for this region of Southern Maryland. Also, I think the portions are too small for the prices they are charging.

    Advice to Management

I wish management would do more to recognize employees who really work hard for them. I am very conscientious about my job, but I don't feel that management cares of pays attention. Also, they would rather throw food away than offer it to their employees to take home.

I have been working at Roy Rogers Restaurants part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I am a cashier and I enjoy the customers.

    Cons

Roys offers a breakfast just to say they have breakfast, but they hardly do any business between the hours of 7 to 10:30 am, so it's very boring working duruing those times. Not much else to do but clean and restock. Also, the restaurant is very dirty.

    Advice to Management

Management does not do much to acknowledge when people are doing well. The pay is lousy also. Nothing is done about the restaurant not being cleaned properly at night.

I worked at Roy Rogers Restaurants part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Well, Roy Rogers doesn't have bad food, they use real ingredients, they give employees a 50% discount while working and 15% if not on shift.

    Cons

The main thing I didn't like is that nobody acted like they wanted to be there, and they took it out on the other employees that they didn't like. Also, I feel as though management picked favorites among the employees. Last, there was a lot of talking behind people's backs, and it was obvious.

    Advice to Management

I would say to the management team to keep an eye on everything, don't ignore what you hear your employees are saying in the background. Also, treat all your employees equally and don't become involved in talking about your employees behind their backs. Practice good ethics.
