I have been working at Royal Australian Navy

    Pros

Money Security Travel Meeting friends Work ethic Having fun in over seas ports but this is coming to a grinding halt due to senior mangement more worried about their but than the people that work for them.

    Cons

Work long hours NO OVER TIME Spend a long time away from family Spineless leaders who will work you to the bone to meet there objective's(Captain and above) It's expected after refit to work 14 + hour days more than 90 duties a year

    Advice to Management

Listen to your people ie. ( LS and PO's) You need to get your people talking together to meet a clear mutually agreed objective ( COMTRAIN, COMSURFOR, CSOE, FRIGATE GROUP you all want different things sort it out.
