    I worked at Royal Bank of Scotland full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - PTO (22 days);
    - Cafeteria;
    - If you live in CT, you don't have to commute to NYC.

    Cons

    The whole corporate culture. Very few people care about what they do there. Very slow processes, what can be done in 2-3 weeks at another company will take months at RBS. Very low discipline. I was shocked when one of the departments (IT networking and telecom) confirmed 4 meetings in a row and just ignored them, nobody showed up. It is a very "political" environment, some teams pursue their own interests only and sabotage initiatives, back-stabbing happens. As the company is (mis)managed from the UK, you won't be empowered and won't have professional opportunities at the US office.
    If you like getting things done, if you expect peers to be responsive and responsible, this is NOT the right environment for you. Beware.

    Advice to Management

    No advice. We all know you don't care.

    I have been working at Royal Bank of Scotland full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Laid back people. Employees are nice and respectful. The building is pretty neat too although it's going away

    Cons

    Chaotic, management has no idea where we are going. Also working on the trading floor is distracting for non-traders.

    Advice to Management

    Think and stop about what metrics mean instead of blindly trying to get them below/above certain values.
