    Pros

Great first job, get experience. Be able to meet people from all over the world and do what you love

    Cons

Due to lack of head broadcast techs, the available ones that should have never been promoted keep getting contracts. Of all the three head broadcast techs I worked under, all three were great technically but also terrible managers and leaders.

I worked at Royal Caribbean Cruises as a contractor

    Pros

I've worked with RCCL for 8 years. It's an organization in constant transformation to remain competitive, in an ever changing market. As a result things are not always perfect; you must be able to adapt. There's room for advancement but you must show that you're deserving as nothing is handed to you.

    Cons

The opportunities available for advancement is limited, therefore you need to stand out. Things don't always run as smoothly as working on land, since a totally different set of demands are placed on you. It's VERY important you adhere to outlined rules and regulations as it maybe the difference between life or death.
