Pros
Good pay and travel is great.
Cons
Long hours and time away from home.

Pros
If you have absolutely no experience or you do not want to develop, then this may be a good option for you. Free food and a bed next to the toilet. A couple of times for the contract, you may be able to go for a walk in the port.
Cons
Disgusting company, I do not advise anyone to work here with anything that is not related to the maritime profession. Long contracts, extremely low salary for the scope of duties. You will not have time for anything other than work, the balance is completely off. The number of responsibilities will increase depending on your experience (your experience will work against you). Only one technician per theater! You will be responsible for everything, you can be used for absolutely any work unrelated to your position (duties in the position description are extremely vague), do not count on help. Incompetent management with no off-ship experience. Complete disrespect for the staff. Management can spread rot at you as they like in the context of the company's policy (the office turns a blind eye). At the interview, they will lie to you, just so that you come to the ship, where you will meet with reality.

Pros
they have a lot to work on. some people are very willing to help out those in need.
Cons
There were people in the team that were not open to new ideas. As data scientists, experimenting with different techniques is a normal thing in our lives. However, some were not so open to hearing new ideas, which made it harder on some days to get the projects moving.

Cons

Solid Company

Revolutionary department of dreamers and doers. Newbuild is truly at the forefront of ship design, and it's an incredibly rewarding carreer. Generally speaking, work-life balance is respected. By 5PM the office is empty. Flexible scheduling once trust is built with management and the team. Great people & Nice office environment. Good benefits package and HR support.
Cons
Quite a bit of coporate politcs to navigate (especially as you move up the ladder). Lots of fabricated urgency due to poor decision making processes and uneven distribution of duties. The department operates at a very high-paced speed. Emails are expected to be addressed quickly, lots of back-to-back meetings, and the urgent is often prioritzed over the important.
