I have been working at Rpci full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The only pro to working here was healthcare, but that has become unaffordable. Currently there are no pros.

    Cons

No career opportunities, no employee support, Human Resources outright lies to employees regarding benefits, the only way to advance is to sue the hospital.

    Advice to Management

RPCI needs to clean house of all management

I worked at Rpci full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Was a great team environment, that is gone. Mission is great helping seriously ill people.

    Cons

Board is incompetent at hiring C level executives. Spiteful and act.like children, petty, and incompetence reigns in administration. All over paid, wasred money gleamed from cutting at the worker or equipment best practices. Abuse people, don't train the to do the job they want then punish them because they don't meet unrealistic expectations.

    Advice to Management

Hire competence, run the place like a business as Dr. HOHN did in his day, not a play ground of egos. Lose that Candice clown send her back to her lab. Get a business person with worldly experience.

I have been working at Rpci full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Relatively speaking, benefit package is not that bad.

    Cons

Started as a highly motivated scientist, until I learned that it was a great mistake to waste my talent, energy, and professional life where there is no respect for Scientific Research and Cancer Research and above all No Respect for highly motivated and devoted Scientists. I am not wondered why many good scientists left, are leaving, and plan to leave!!

    Advice to Management

Respect scientists and appreciate their work. Less advertisement and self glorification and less propaganda and shows, but value real and hard-working scientists.

I have been working at Rpci full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Excellent benefit plan. You can work indepently. No overtime is expected.

    Cons

Do not promote from within. That's a total joke. You bid on something and never even get called for a interview. No respect among colleagues. The unfairness is REAL!!

    Advice to Management

Stop playing games and holding back great employees. You are going to loose employees because of the disrespect, not showing appreciation. You constantly add more work without increasing pay.
