        Pros

The company has impressive clientele and features wonderful coworkers. They are organized, understanding, and effective

        Cons

There is little room for advancement. It depends on openings, which come very few and far between

        Doesn't Recommend

I worked at Rpr Marketing Communications full-time

        Pros

This place works you to the bone, BUT, you do learn to get a lot of things accomplished. They cover your medical but the co-pay is pricey. Summer Fridays meant work until 1pm. The rest of the year every other Friday they provide drinks and snacks like an internal happy hour.

        Cons

You work to the bone! Day is long from 9-6pm and noone takes a proper lunch hour. People eat at their desks. Management also acts as HR, so its very biased.

        Advice to Management

Hire real HR professionals! Treat your star employees better. Pay closer attention to the high turnover rate. Hire better management to lead the teams better.

          Pros

          Former Employee - Intern

I worked at Rpr Marketing Communications

          Pros

-Decent clients, free food on Fridays

          Cons

-PR interns do all the bottom level administrative work - receptionist duties, ordering supplies/food/coffee (basically everything), stocking VP's fridge with diet coke, running out multiple times a day to purchase mailer supplies, Fedex billing. No real PR education aspect here, which was surprising because in the interview it seemed like they cared about that. -Other interns were surprisingly unhelpful and catty -Leaving...

          Advice to Management

Treat your interns with the respect they deserve and actually try to teach them about the PR industry. Invest in some real HR and quit micromanaging. It's just not effective.

I worked at Rpr Marketing Communications full-time

          Pros

Rpr was the first agency I've been at in New York where work is fun, challenging, team based and engaging. I had exceptional co-workers and management, they were great to work with. Work life balance is a priority and they are flexible/responsive to when life emergencies, etc happen. The culture is entrepreneurial and empowering. The work place is casual, friendly and professional. Leave petty at the door.

          Cons

The clients are strong, category leaders - and because the management is committed to not having you work across so many brands, you don't get to touch them all. It is beneficial because you get to really invest your talents but hard to miss out the chance to work on top brands.

          Advice to Management

Management can continue to give the new team members a chance to contribute ideas and culture to make the agency even richer and more representative of all talents and personalities there.

I worked at Rpr Marketing Communications full-time for more than a year

          Pros

-Friendly and approachable staff and management, which is so important since you spend so much time at work -Highly strategic and sought after clients - who wouldn't want to work on Neutrogena! -Company understands work/life balance -Cool benefits like casual dress code and summer Fridays -Understands the importance of advancement and growth -They really appreciate strengths of everyone, no matter what the level...

          Cons

-So many great clients, but because most of the staff work on one brand, you don't always get the opportunity to work on other brands

          Advice to Management

Management can continue to give higher level opportunities to staff, above their titles - it is one of the best "perks" of Rpr, which you don't find a lot.
