at ruangguru, all people seems humble, welcoming and eager to talk to others. i felt like coming home, instead of joining a new company on my onboarding. everyday filled with joy and good atmosphere but stay professional.
Cons
wrong direction on marketing team led my division went unprovitable and got a massive layoff, i don't know if this a cons. but one thing i missed is the people, not the employee status.

With Alvin Tamie as a VP and then CTO, the Engineering and Data department has an amazing environment to polish your skill and improve as a Softwere Engineer. Active 1:1 with peers, seniors, and managers. Work-life balance, need an urgent reason to work overtime (so it's a rare occurrence). Competitive salary, and many other benefit.
Cons
Currently, like many tech companies, they need to lay off their company. Thus the requirement will be higher unlike before, with lower benefits.

The company policy is fair and accomodating the employees in many fields.
