    Pros

Nothing at all. A lot of cons and no pros

    Cons

It is sad to see all of the fake reviews that are generated on RPR’s glassdoor. My time at RPR started out as promising. It seemed as if I would have the opportunity to grow and move up to a senior position. However, after the third month of being with the company I began to witness the barbaric behaviors of the president and his loyal followers who have been with the company for 5+ years. To everyone who is thinking...

    Advice to Management

The president needs to open his eyes. His entry level staff are the most valuable. Teach upper management how to manage them better and stop blaming them. It's not their fault it's the manager. Let them have the freedom to change a few things. The market place is changing and RPR needs to change.

I worked at Rubenstein Public Relations for more than a year

    Pros

Amazing pay, good benefits, good clients, amazing amenities, good location with access to transportation. I had a great experience here work made me feel like I had a sense of purpose. You will have really great times at RPR, work with diverse personalities, and make nice memories with some of the most talented people in public relations.

    Cons

    Foster a more collaborative environment.

    Advice to Management

Create a clear path to advancement so new employees understand what it takes to be promoted internally.

I have been working at Rubenstein Public Relations full-time

    Pros

Beautiful office, although very small. Great people (except for the president. However, if you're seen speaking to each other you are yelled at).

    Cons

Chaotic, unorganized, people crying every day, every week people quit or are let go for no reason - 3 over the past week. This is the worst professional environment I have ever experienced. The president is constantly screaming at people, he humiliates people in front of others, he insults people behind their back; he is truly abusive. Everyone must tiptoe around him and agree with him or you are subject to his wrath....

    Cons

Hard to share cons I have been working here for a short period of time

I have been working at Rubenstein Public Relations full-time

    Pros

Honestly, the former employees who have ever written any sort of negative reviews in the past are the employees who weren't cut out to make it here for one reason or another and take their frustration to succeed here out on the most obvious target-Richard. In a city like New York and an industry like pr, there is no doubt this is one of the most competitive fields and competitive agencies to work for in the business....

    Cons

In one way or another we are all our own managers and put a lot of pressure on ourselves to produce the work we do. Would be nice to continue to have more events on a regular basis, where some of my favorite memories while working here have been made.

    Advice to Management

We appreciate when you continue to nurture the growth of our careers no matter how experienced or inexperienced, young or old we are. And keep planning fun social events please.

I have been working at Rubenstein Public Relations full-time

    Pros

RPR is the ideal workplace, it sustains the energy and drive of a start-up while being in business for years. The agency is different from most PR agency's in ways of execution, partnership and client base. As a company, I think we authentically represent what it means to be the best at what we do and deliver the best for our clients, always have our consumers' best interests in mind in terms of how we have grown...

    Cons

Would love to see the group events come back. While growing and expanding staff focus on building a culture for the long run where people feel like family and spend social time together.

I worked at Rubenstein Public Relations full-time for less than a year

    Pros

This place isn't as bad as everyone says, especially in comparison to other PR firms in the area. They pay well, other a free gym membership and most staff memberships are incredibly talented.

    Cons

The daily screaming, bullying and humiliation can really wear you down if you don't have a tough skin. It's hard to see co-workers and such smart people crying in the bathroom and burning out after a month or two. You don't get a chance to develop any real connections. No one makes friends or hangs out after work, it's not a social place at all.

    Advice to Management

Develop employee retention programs, the turnover is insane!
