I have been working at Ruby Tuesday part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It's a great way to learn and gain restaurant experience. It's a pretty laid back work environment, the shifts seem to go by fast.

    Cons

During slow times of the year they can't schedule you as much. It can be difficult to try and pick up all your shifts.

I have been working at Ruby Tuesday full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

After working there only 2 months i've already been promoted and offered 2 more positions. I make $11-$12 an hour. good pay, awesome people, management can be a little to possessive at times. Again this is the restaurant business it's so up and down. So stressful.

    Cons

NO work life balance if you're full time.

    Advice to Management

    Hire more Hosts/Server Assistants

I worked at Ruby Tuesday part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It's easy to make quick money. The shifts are (usually) pretty short, so it's a great job to have while in school.

    Cons

Customers can be a pain, but that's true with every restaurant. Sometimes you'll get poor tips, but it usually balances out.

    Advice to Management

I would say close down the restaurants that don't bring in much revenue, an for put that money into renovating the other restaurants, but they just did that.

I worked at Ruby Tuesday part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It was a pretty standard restaurant job. Because it is a corporate chain it was pretty well run in my opinion. Much less personal drama at our location than other places.

    Cons

Mostly working for tips, RT doesn't draw the kind of clientele that make that beneficial.
