    Pros

    I had a great time and all of the people were nice. The managers were helpful. Moved up to bartender when I asked.

    Cons

    Management was full of themselves. Tips were minimal. Tests were easy and pointless.

    Advice to Management

    Do not steal tips from your servers. Let your staff be flexible with schedules since this job is not something they will stick with forever.

    I worked at Ruby Tuesday full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Worked 10 hours a day. Salary was not bad. There are more cons than pros but I will never finish.

    Cons

    They closed 97 restaurant last year, I got transfer by my request to restaurant that they closed after my 8th month of being there. They did not transfer any manager. 4 years working for them I went through 6 different directors not counting the regionals and CEO.

    Advice to Management

    Have consistency in your upper management.

    The staff works with you and helps when needed. Management works with your schedule pretty well.

    Cons

    High turnover rate wiith employees. Management doesn't really do what needs to be done for the better of the restaruant

    Great bosses. Great systems. Team attitude varies from city to city. Good benefits. Corporate leaders really care. The brand is trying to stay relevant but fans are losing their identity.

    Long hours. Menu item/execution too complex

    Simplify, streamline, study, stay the course.

    Pros

    Chain store so plenty of room to move if you're so inclined, good training.

    Cons

    Benefits were not so hot, had a minor accident, not in the store, and 'health insurance' at the time wouldn't cover it because it didn't happen in store.

    calm environment, nice guest , if you need days off it was easy to get . Also picking up shifts were easy.

    Cons

    some supervisors weren't business like. inventory was terrible.

    Ok shifts and good hours
    Less busy than some other restaurants

    Management plays favorites
    Not a very professional company
    New regulations are making everyone's job hardeharder in the restaurants

    Advice to Management

    Be more strict with your rules and expectations. Punish ALL employees for breaking them. Require ALL employees to follow the rules and live up to expectations.

    good pay you get tips almost every night

    Cons

    little training causes anxiety when you officially start to work there. you only get four days to know everything. Often times you are alone in the front to you have to juggle way to many things at once.

    get two to three people to work in the front so you arent left to work alone
