    Pros

    Team environment with a focus on quality of life, earning potential is based off of performance which everyone says but here it is actually true!

    Cons

    This is purely performance based so if you just want to go to work to get through the day this job is not for you.

    Pros

    President really values family and allows you to take time off for family events without repercussion or censure. Hours are traditional 8-5 and although you can work more to make more money you don't have to. The amount of money you can make depends primarily on you with a little luck and help from other office staff who are always happy to help. A very friendly atmosphere.

    Cons

    Can be very competitive as hard work is rewarded which isn't a con for me personally but can be stressful for some. Not for people who want to cruise through the day doing as little as possible to obtain a paycheck.

    Advice to Management

    Remember that some personalities need a little more encouragement and praise while others need a more hands off approach.

    Pros

    The development potential at this company in addition to the top level training resources this company have to offer are extremely valuable. The atmosphere in the office is one of extreme positivity and EVERYONE is willing to pitch in and help out one another. Everyone truly cares about the growth of the company and each individual. There isn't a lot of micromanaging going on, you are left alone for the most part to do your own thing but still have support available at any time.

    Cons

    This is a phone job so if you aren't motivated and don't want to be on the phones, this job is not for you.

    Pros

    This company provides first rate training (for new employees and ongoing for veterans)
    This company has a great team atmosphere where everyone is professional, respectful, and truly cares about each others' success
    This company will allow you to earn as much as you want and allow you to build your practice by working within industries and market segments you choose

    Like any sales career, there are only so many hours in a day to allow you to do everything you wish to do

    Keep offering contests that help to motivate and keep the troops charged up and ready to go above and beyond

    Pros

    There is no better company in Dayton Ohio where you can be as effective and be a real game changer for the companies you recruit and consult for. The training from Next Level Exchange is off the chart real time applicable crash course in business development 101--this is a positive, dynamic sales culture where employees support each other and high five successes.

    Cons

    You are expected to make a business plan and follow through with it--do not work here unless you plan on applying yourself every day and being on the phone. It takes a real positive attitude and resilience to be effective and thats what makes it all worth it.

    Advice to Management

    keep advancing software, more sales contest and rewards for high production.

    Pros

    Great company with a small office feel, but all of the benefits of being part of a large network. Training and continuing education resources available for you to be successful. Must be a hard worker with the desire to control your own destiny!

    Cons

    The recruiting industry can be tough, but the potential is high if you put in the effort and time. Just like any sales job there are variables that you can't control and it can be challenging.

    Advice to Management

    Keep moving forward! I love all of the advancements/improvements that you continue to make!

    Pros

    Excellent sales environment. Work hard and play hard. Golf, dart tournaments in the office, random days off for hitting company goals, free trips for employee and spouse for reaching personal production goals (i.e. Cancun). You get out what you put in and are rewarded accordingly. Uncapped darling potential and unlimited upward mobility and growth potential.

    Cons

    Not for the weak of heart. It is a difficult job but the culture and environment make it worth it as well as the perks and financial gain.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing. This job is easy to start feeling burnt out so the culture here really keeps it fresh and exciting so you look forward to coming into work each day.

    Pros

    Professional culture where colleagues support each other to help build the success of one another. The owner has invested in world class training resources that truly provide a foundation for success for the right individuals who are blessed with the necessary attributes to be in this business.

    Cons

    We do not have a private corporate chef who prepares breakfast and lunch for the staff. However, there are always snack choices and coffee available in the break room to help push thru a fast paced, high activity day!

    Advice to Management

    Continue supporting the staff with coaching, top caliber training resources and technology based tools to promote success.

    Pros

    You can take your career as an Executive Search Consultant as far as you want. There is a direct path to leadership where you can take ownership of your practice and make it what you want. Within the guidelines of the company's mission and vision statements, there is unlimited freedom to run your business how you see fit. No cap on compensation. You are directly compensated by the value you bring to the organization. If you work harder and perform better, your compensation will directly reflect that.

    I started out as a part time college kid doing data entry. Within 10 years I've advanced through the ranks to the highest position the company offers (besides Owner), have been the highest producer in the organization for several years, and consistently rank among the top 5% in the nation. There is a process here that fosters growth and success. Follow the process, you will be successful. It's not an easy job, but it's that simple.

    This career is best for folks who are entrepreneurial in spirit. Everything you need to be successful is provided by the company (i.e. software tools, computers, ongoing training through Next Level Exchange, etc.). However, beyond that it is your responsibility to invest in your career and your practice, take risks, and reap the benefits and rewards for those risks. If there are additional tools that can increase your sales, it is your responsibility to evaluate the risk vs. the reward in that investment. We all run our business independently of one another, but in a team environment that promotes friendly competition and a lot of fun.

    You have an opportunity to grow your team and earn overrides by taking the financial risk. NOTHING is forced, however, most people here want to take that risk because of the financial gain that results.

    Lastly, we work hard and play hard. There is no other career I know of where you can earn this kind of money yet still maintain a work/life balance. Family comes first for this organization. We're all here to make money, but there is a tremendous amount of flexibility and freedom that comes with it. We have a lot of contests and incentives, extra days off for hitting performance milestones, gift cards, cookouts, Christmas parties, season tickets to several sports teams, and the list goes on.

    If you are looking for a place where you will be rewarded for your efforts and want to maintain a great work life balance there is nowhere better.

    Cons

    This job is not perfect, as no job is, and it's not for the weak of heart. The bottom line is this is arguably one of the most difficult sales professions that exist. If it was easy, everyone would do it and everyone would be a millionaire. There are a few reasons people fail that I will outline. If you think you would fall into any of these categories, this is not the place for you...

    1. This is a phone job. If you are not on the phone, you will not make money. Period. There is great training and every aspect of this business can be taught. However, if you do not pick up the phone you will fail. Expect to make 100 calls per day. If you don't like being in an office on the phone, this is not for you. Training consists of listening to your calls with managers. This is not due to lack of privacy or trust, or micromanagement, this is an opportunity to evaluate your performance with management to help you improve and be more successful faster.
    2. Lack of personal responsibility/accountability. This is not a job you can come in, do a little bit of work, and bring home a nice salary. This is 100% straight commission. If you are not making money, you have no one to blame but yourself. If you look for excuses rather than look for solutions, this is not the place.
    3. Arrogance. I have had the pleasure of working with some of the most talented sales people in Dayton, but some have failed flat on their face trying to do this job. The reality is there is no other sales job like it. I've seen way better sales people than me come in but fail because they thought their prior experience was enough for them to succeed. This is not the case. There is a proven process that works. Follow the process, you will be successful, do it your own way, you are destined to fail.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you are doing. You have created a great sales environment that rewards success and grants freedom for people to advance in their careers at their own pace and take personal responsibility for their careers. You have laid the foundation and given employees everything they need to succeed; it's ultimately up to them to go get it.
