    Pros

I had a great time. The money was easy. Management was awesome

    Cons

Kids night. Also, since its a team effort...if other members don't pull their weight, you have to pick up the slack. Management and leadership is key here.

    I worked at Ryan's full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I worked with the public and enjoyed it. I was over seeing the cashier's and waitresses and count safe, made sure we all worked as a team.We was a family.

    Cons

They closed us down. Working 12-15hrs a day.

    Advice to Management

Everybody needs to work as a team and do the best that they can.

    Pros

They have plenty of hours its mostly busy so time passes and customers begin to be regulars

    Cons

Seems like forever when your cleaning up at the end of your shift and you never get to have a day off

    Advice to Management

    I have been working at Ryan's full-time

    Pros

None that I can think of.

    Cons

For staff it is fine unless they are cutting hours. For management they get the short end of the stick working over 60 hrs per week and not getting pay to show for it.

    I worked at Ryan's part-time

    Pros

Money was good. Flexibility was good. Days off were the best. Always had dollar bills and loose change. Salad bar good

    Cons

Corporate management is a joke! Everything about corporate management is a darn joke. No wonder this place has went under so many times.

    Advice to Management

Shut down, clean house, and start all over. From President, Marketing, to HR let them all go. This place cares nothing about "actual" customer service

    Pros

They were understanding of my schedule, they were understanding of my health needs.

    Cons

There were some unprofessional discrepancies between the kitchen staff and the managers.

    Advice to Management

The managers could've improve communication with each other but, due to the constant changing of management, it was difficult to understand what was often expected of me.

    Pros

Medium to higher end of the management pay scale once justified. Pleasant management training program, a lot of tasty knowledge drilled into your brain in a relatively short amount of time. Always refreshing to Test your Mind to keep the dimension away. You will quickly overcome your fear of public speaking if applicable.

    Cons

No work/ family balance. Almost an instant deal breaker seeing how it is a family oriented restaurant and management team ect. (Not your family.) My particular store, the management team seemed so focused on numbers and bonuses that I felt as though they had lost the passion to entertain and serve their community. Which goes back to Work/Life balance, any form of matter repetitishly tossed to the grindstone without attention to detail will undoubtedly snap.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work! Great training program. I could go into cooking method modifications but as it exists the pot belly behemoth named Ryan's easily makes food cost without the necessity to heckle staff. The secret to success for many chain restaurant is their addition of their very own commissary. The luxury of consistent produce, proteins, and dry goods cuts down on employee errors wonderfully, reduces labor costs typically lost in the preparation and grants the ability to produce food that looks exactly the same on Monday as it does Friday night. Food and Beverage Cost CONTROL!

    I worked at Ryan's full-time

    Pros

Grea staff, friendly customers, easy work, opportunity to be trained in alot of areas where help is needed.

    Cons

Not enough hours, bad management, unsanitary, felt bad serving old food in a dirty store but not enough hours or material for fresh food every half hour

    Advice to Management

Communication( staff and guests) should have store cleaning floor plan to where everything gets done. Focus on job.
