    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

The benefits at SAC were great, including health insurance, tuition reimbursement, and vacation days. Most of the coworkers were friendly, and SAC is a reputable hedge fund in the industry. While other hedge funds were losing money, SAC was one of the few that reported a profit in the quarter.

    Cons

Many of the downsides I found at working at SAC was upper management. Your talents aren't truly recognized by management, therefore there isn't efficiency. Even though there was scope for advancing, management tries to keep you where you are for their own needs. Some management weren't right for the job - a sentiment that was shared by many.

    Advice to Management

Some advice I would offer to the leadership at SAC is to recognize the talents that's available to them, and not take advantage. If you keep your employees happy, you'll see a vast difference in their performance.
