    I worked at S. Abraham & Sons full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

-Some funny people there that make the 13 hr shifts go by easier
-long hrs to make up for the inadequate pay

    Cons

    - Very faulty equipment this place is just one big osha violation.
    - Management threatens to fire you every time you have an off day.
    - Very poor HR the company doest know how to hire people that know how to do the job. I've only seen a few people stay longer than a year.
    - Management just chills in the office and spread bad attitudes. This place is the farthest thing from a team environment that i've ever seen.
    - Everybody works against each other. There is no teamwork.
    - Management plays favorites and doesn't know how to evenly distribute the workload .
    - This whole place is clueless when it comes to running a warehouse accurately and productively.
    - HR treats the warehouse like a bunch of rats. People are treated differently.
    - Absolutely no incentive, people that slack off make the same as the people who actually do work hard.

    Advice to Management

Fire them all, And hire some real leadership. This is the direct result to the 80% turnover problem.

    I worked at S. Abraham & Sons full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

average pay for warehouse associates, but extra "perks" such as attendance bonus, wellness bonuses, discounts on products, etc..

    Cons

inconsistency in work schedule; may work 7 hours one night and 13 the next. work is not distributed fairly, some people are assigned more work than they can accomplish while others just stand around with nothing to do.

    Advice to Management

    need all new management

    I worked at S. Abraham & Sons full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Weekends off, unless there was a holiday during the week. The benefits were also pretty good and reasonably priced. Employee purchase program was a plus.

    Cons

Pay is not that great for class A drivers. You don't make that much more than B drivers. The people in management and the warehouse are not good at what they do. This usually ends up complicating the driver's job (ie: poor loading, things left off the truck, stacked in reverse order, etc. All of these things cost time and make your day longer). No hourly pay. Pay for miles, cube and stops, all below industry standard. Routes are usually long and labor intensive, which tends to make the compensation look even less adequate.

    Advice to Management

Put people in positions where they'll have experience doing the jobs of the people they will be supervising.

    Cons

    I worked at S. Abraham & Sons full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Pay is solid for what's required.

They are customer focused which is why they got one star.

    Cons

Updated iPads are nice but when the rest of your processes are antique it doesn't work well together.

Management to sales rep communication has a huge gap.

Lack of communicating expectations on the smallest of things like call frequency.

Mailing in checks instead of electronic deposit for stores who use checks.

Lack of proper materials to do job.

The list goes on and on but upper management is too old to update.

    Advice to Management

Figure out how to come into the modern world before your salesforce is all retired.
