    I worked at S.U.C.C.E.S.S. full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Enjoyed people I worked with and there was a fair amount of autonomy. Otherwise, they are a typical non-profit.

    Cons

For non-Chinese employees, it is not very inclusive. The division I belonged to was not immigrant oriented, and failed to be acknowledged for the hard work and success they had.

    Advice to Management

Have a "speak English only" policy for staff.

    I worked at S.U.C.C.E.S.S. full-time

    Pros

    One culture - Chinese company

Low wages. Hiring and firing people so easily (Do not come to work if you have a family because you will be fired so easily). No HR department (Manager hires and fires its own staff). Ridiculous evaluation.

    Advice to Management

Turn over rate is so high - It is the highest in Canada.

    Pros

compensation and benefits are okay, below average but fine for new graduates. Stable work hours, no overtime.

    Cons

racism was serious. caucasian employees gave no respect to their "non-Canadian" colleagues - verbal abuse, bullying. management unsupportive, demanding, accusing you of something that you did not do wrong. No communication.

    Advice to Management

Dont think this organization has any future if their management team did not address racism. Employees and even the management team need training on how to build a respectful work environment. Well, they are pretty good at making up the numbers for fundings.
