I worked at S&P Global full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Benefits (if you get to use them)

    Cons

Expected weekend work (yes, every weekend). Most of the management is in New York. They’re old timers and believe it’s the 70s. Like most organizations not every manager is bad but company tends to protect those who clearly abuse their powers and discriminate against others (especially pregnant females). Managers yelling, screaming is seen as “BAU” comparing them to the “drill instructors” and praising them for... getting the job done.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of old schoolers who are unaware of the changing dynamics of the workplace. Discrimination based on anything but performance should be ruled out with ZERO tolerance.

I worked at S&P Global full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Nice Location to Work in the City Good Business Finance doing well Today Plenty Around to Do

    Cons

Wish Company and People as Good as Location - Management Dinosaurs with Clueless Outsourced New Hires Really Tanked after Lost Education Business - Like they were hit in the head - Don't Mention Outsorced entire IT - Don't like American's anymore just hiring L1-B to Replace Poor attitude - Skills At New Low, like Fortune 500 Rank Dropped To - Really Hurt by Great Recession

    Advice to Management

Like they Say - Hire American and Make America Great Again - IT is like you put a small group of high school students in India on a raft and sailed to Battery Park. Employees with that little education or experience need professionals around not old foggy business people that think hacking is the new waterfall.
