    Approves of CEO

I have been working at SABIC full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Good employer on Teesside
Sabic is a good employer on Teesside with a committed and talented local team.
Work is demanding but satisfying, and there is a good team spirit.

    Cons

Requirement to conform with global processes (even if they are less effective for the Teesside site) can be frustrating, although it is understood that these are often necessary.
The number of initiatives imposed on the site can be detrimental to overall progress as focus is diverted from important work and valuable improvements.

    Advice to Management

Keep striving to improve, but consider giving more flexibility to individual regions. Reduce number of initiatives, focus on the most important and valuable ones.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

The company is really interested in being in the industry, not just making money.

    Cons

Despite being a global organisation, the opportunities are quite limited geographically.

    Advice to Management

Leadership and management are different skill sets.
