      Pros

Finance team is helpful when you seek it. They treat you like an employee not an intern. You get out what you put into it. Great internship to get real experience that boosts a resume. You will do more then make copies or get coffee, so be ready to actually work if you want work here as an intern. Mostly friendly work environment. I really enjoyed my time here!

      Cons

Most in office are approachable and will help you understand tasks and such, but not all. (They are busy though, but still could be better) Internship program is still somewhat of a work in process, but is improving with every rotation. Getting access can be a pain, but it’s a big company so it is to be expected to a certain extent.

      Pros

Great work environment, great support/training network for new hires and interns, good work/life balance.

      Cons

Locations are rural, hard to persuade management to change processes/ideas that are already in place.

      Pros

      - Decent salary - Unique corporate environment with benefits of working for a Saudi company in the U.S. - Opportunities to travel both domesically and internationally - Somewhat friendly work environment - Quickly hired after being interviewed

      Cons

      - Unprofessional H.R. and staff - Very little opportunity for growth and advancement - Unequal pay between staff members who have equal to more experience - Unfair treatment of employees' (favoritism by supervisors and managers) - Micromanagement by supervisors which creates tension - Little support from H.R. when needed - Extremely high turnover rate in many departments - Little room for autonomy - No sense of teamwork - A work environment that expects all to praise management, no matter what - Extensive responsibilities for the amount of pay

      Pros

Very interesting and satisfying work environment.

      Cons

The culture between engineers/management and technicians very negative toward anyone in management. Upper management does not do a thorough job in vetting promotions. Training for new managers is non-existent. Executive level management is very secretive. No disclosure on company and enterprise statistics. No disclosure of compensation ranges. Employee rating system is flawed and ambiguous. If you want to move up, you have to move to Mt Vernon and do a round there. Very dead end at most plants. High deductible health care system.

Fast paced and demanding plastic distribution company.

      Pros

SABIC offers excellent benefits. The plastics industry is unique and there is always an opportunity to learn. The breadth of products in Polymershapes' distribution portfolio combined with having SABIC as a parent company yields job security even during tough economic times.

      Cons

This is not a laid back work environment. Pressure and micromanagement from senior managers is a constant. Middle and Executive management positions are filled primarily from outside the company. Promotions into outside sales and management are rare. Workloads can be very heavy at times.

      Pros

Really interesting work for Reliability Engineers, more than enough work to go around. The people in the south are very friendly and outgoing. Great pay, but its a given in a remote location.

      Cons

Somewhat dangerous work environment. They take safety very seriously but the chemicals involved are nothing to joke about.

      Pros

Great mix of cultures and traditions, Nice work environment and great colleagues. As a contractor, I have to manage the SAP role Administration of all of the Americas (Both North America and South America). Huge step for me from my previous job where my responsibility was for the students of University. We had many training sessions and learnt a lot.

      Cons

Not many traditions going on around here. Even for the employees. There's a casual Fridays and occasional lunches. Nothing much exciting going on specifically in the IT department. Always focused on work and very little socialization outside of work.
