Fast Growing Company with decent benefits
Sep 14, 2020 - Software Support Technician in Salt Lake City, UTRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Results oriented, which means they are less interested in corporate bureaucracy and more interested in the work. Really refreshing to not have to memorize a lot of pointless company policies and just focus on the job. No micromanagement or nitpicky supervisors. They make sure employees are taken care of.
Cons
While the company is growing crazy fast and is doing excellent, there isn't any sort of clear career track or salary increase path for employees, at least in the position I was in. Promises of "positions may open up or be created higher up" doesn't express confidence.

Paid well but not worth it.
Oct 29, 2020 - Tech Support in Salt Lake City, UTRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Salary was good at least.
Cons
Company's upper management went downhill over the past few years, understaffing it's primary departments while expanding it's customer base, causing the work environment to be difficult. A lot of empty and unfulfilled promises about advancement to various employees at varying levels within the company.

Pros
The job is very easy. They work with school schedules. The staff can be very friendly but also very niche. Development teams work very diligently to resolve issues within the software and they work with you in a friendly manner. There is tons of parking and covered parking. The bathrooms typically look very nice. Facilities are kept clean by building management. HR is a separate company. IT company is friendly.
Cons
Gossip and favoritism were always an issue. Only one tier so no growth. The call volume is not distributed equally among support team. Management does not think before speaking - they easily put employees down without realizing it -- not specific to support management. Extra work does not always mean extra pay. Raises are few and far between and minimal. No homework during downtime, but apparently watching ESPN and browsing KSL is acceptable.

Excellent company with seasoned staff at all levels
Aug 28, 2014 - Senior Construction Manager in Lynchburg, VARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
SAI is a firm believe in training and cross-training. Your ability to advance and enhance your skill sets are limited only by your investment. The staff that I worked with are older, experienced professionals. They believe in obtaining top-notch talent and experience is how they hire
Cons
None noted other than work-life balance can sometimes be dictated by their client...such is life in the wireless telecom business

Overall good, but some issues that need to be addressed
Apr 1, 2012 - in Salt Lake City, UTRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great people to work with, management recognizes talent and makes effort to reward or cultivate it, CEO has lots of ideas for new products/industries and taking the company forward, opportunities for travel, ability to meet people from around the world and learn about their different cultures
Cons
Management's decisions are often made with little thought or guidance from internal people, often causing conflicts between people or projects. Sometimes the diversity and amount of projects stretches staff and can lead to quickly produced, shoddy work.

Pros
Most people in the company are pleasant to work with. Easy hiring process. No specific limit on PTO
Cons
Lots of friction between departments, if you do better work you get to do more of it without any kind of pay increase. Often times one person is doing the workload of three while others are doing much less. Non-competitive pay.
