    Flexible hours/schedule
    Friendly employees
    Typically promotes from within the company
    If restructuring(downsizing) occurs, company is willing to work to find alternate positions

    Cons

    Years of experience continue to increase (+1 per year for last 3 years) making promotions difficult
    Decent benefits but high deductibles

    Pros

    Interesting and challenging assignments. Competitive pay and benefits. Supportive management and current tools and technology. Company well thought of in community and supportive of community.

    Cons

    Some assignments require working embedded within customer facilities with onerous security regulations and inflexible work schedules. Not as supportive of professional association participation as other employers.

    Pros

    SAIC is a great company to work for. The leadership is mostly retired senior military officers so its a well run organization.

    Cons

    Their business model was internal competition which pits different business units against each other to compete for opportunities. But you also hone your skills and you learn to develop business skills
