Pros
I have an excellent boss, a wonderful, hard-working, and competent team, AND I like what I do. That in itself is enough for me to be happy, but on top of that, I feel that the company actually cares about its employees which is a departure from every other company I've worked for. We get to enjoy flex schedule options, there's a lot of support and encouragement to participate in Employee Resource Groups (which I really love being a part of!), we embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion (not just pay lip service to it), and there are learning options, newsletters, and panel discussions (such as one I recently enjoyed on Environmental & Social Governance). It makes my work experience more enriching because it's not just about the job. For me, it creates greater meaning by adding more color and depth to my day-to-day. Did I mention the benefits are also good and I get to work entirely from home which works VERY well for me? I feel very fortunate for being employed here and I don't anticipate leaving any time soon!
Cons
I can't think of anything.

Pros
Good benefit package for engineers at my higher level (I don't use the healthcare so I can't speak to the affordability or coverage). Interesting work and great support in transferring when the job disappears due to budgets and re-organizations. Very forward thinking.
Cons
No work-life balance Customer is always right, even when they refuse to follow COVID19 protocols.

Pros
Large company, can find you another position if you lose coverage on a contract
Cons
Poor management at the mid and junior division level; turn and burn mentality; benefits not as good as they used to be

Pros
Benefits were good when I joined SAIC however as years go by we're getting less and less. Salary is excellent but beware (see downsides). Location, location, location - San Diego, CA. How can you go wrong? Get to work on some pretty cool, cutting edge programs
Cons
Lack of teamwork and sharing of information. As a female, I've seen some instances of the good 'ole boy mentality. Lack of professional development opportunities unless you are one of "the chosen ones". Although the salary is excellent one has to be careful because the company operates on "time sold" metric. Time-sold is basically the hours you can bill to a direct contract. If you are working on a program, such as an internal research and development or general overhead, they are indirect so it doesn't bode well for your time sold statistic therefore you may get pressure get your time-sold up. This may mean that you will have to work on your own time, uncompensated, on the indirect program so you can bill a direct charge program. Another potential issue with the excellent salary is that all program managers have access to that information so they know what you make. This helps them for budgeting however it could hinder you because they might choose a lower paid person to do a job you could do just as well or even better. To get work you do have to fend for yourself in some divisions while others, management helps to make sure you have work.

Pros
I worked for a great manager. The company also provides good benefits and the HR department is great to work with..
Cons
Despite having a great manager, the government client I supported was extremely difficult to work with. As with the contracting world, it is difficult to further your career unless you constantly switch contracts. It is also difficult to be recognized for your hard work.

Pros
Overall I have had a great experience with SAIC. The people I work with are knowledgeable and think outside of the box. We constantly strive to deliver the best possible product to our customers which means using up-to-date technologies and methodologies. I continue to learn and develop my skills during my time in this position. Benefits are as good as they can be with the state of our healthcare system in the US. SAIC does what is possible to add perks and extra benefits that will help their employees.
Cons
SAIC does a lot of business with government contracts. The state of that work can be a headache in itself. These contracted engineering projects can result in working on severely out-of-date technologies or legacy applications. Sometimes the immediate management overlook the best possible team structures. This is such a minor con though.
